If you are looking to find out the current market value of your house, there are a number of methods that you can use online to do this research.
The best site to find the value of your house is Zillow.com
Zillow is a very unique website that is designed to give you an edge in real estate and it is free. Zillow gives you an estimate of the current market value of your house, and it should be the starting point for you before you go to a real estate agent.
What you do is type in your address (or just your zipcode if you prefer) and zillow uses its complex algorithm to scan millions of bits of data to give you an estimatated value of your house. It even factors in things like agent fees and closing costs in your estimate if you wish.
Zillow uses Google Earth to zone in on your street or zipcode so you can actually see it - this feature is so cool if you are looking for a new house and you want to get a closer look at the area or street you are thinking of moving to. Just imagine how useful this feature could be - especially if you are planning on moving to another state and you haven't had a chance to check out the area.
A great feature is that their estimate tool gives you a chance to tell it about features of your house than may increase its value that it doesn't know about it, such as interior decorating, garden landscaping, built-in bookshelves, a deck you added etc. The estimate tool takes into account the added value of these features and what you paid for them. Other online estimators do not take into account factors such as this when estimating the market value of your home.
It should be your first stop when you are thinking about selling your house.
Once you have gotten an estimate on the current market value of your house from Zillow you should follow up by getting a real estate agent or a professional appraiser to visit your house for a Comparative Market Analysis.
If you choose to you can even post your house for sale on zillow and handle the sale yourself.

How can i fix my cell phone - it got wet
It is so common today for cell phone's to be exposed to water damage. Don't take your phone to an expensive service center for repairs, before you do anything try these simple techniques to fix your wet cell phone - they won't cost you a penny.
So whether your cell phone was dropped in a puddle or accidently put through the washing machine follow these methods to get it up and working again.
Method one to fix a wet cell phone:
Step 1: Remove the phone's battery right away.
Step 2: Use a paper towel, sponge, cloth etc to wipe away all visible wetness from the phone. If the phone was dropped in salt water you will need to rinse it in tap water first and then fully dry it.
Step 3: Put your cell phone in the fridge overnight. This might sound like an odd thing to do to your phone but the fridge acts as a dehumidifier which will evaporate wetness from the inside of your phone.
Step 5: Take the cell phone out of the fridge. Let the phone sit until it returns to room temperature.
Step 6: Put the battery back in the phone and turn it on.
Method Two to fix a wet cell phone:
Step 1: Remove the battery.
Step 2: Use a towel or a dry cloth to remove all visible wetness from the phone. If the phone was dropped in salt water, rinse it in tap water and first and then proceed to dry it with a towel or dry cloth.
Step 3: Once you have dried with a towel, use a hair dryer on cold air to blow out as much water as possible.
Step 4: Set your oven to its lowest temperature (usually 175F) and put your phone in the oven for 4-5 hours. Do not put the battery in the oven and never use a microwave - you must use the oven and only on its lowest temperature.
Step 5: After 4-5 hours, take the phone out and replace either a new battery or the battery that you have dried out. Plug the phone into the charger and power it up.
These methods work 90% of the time in fixing a wet cell phone. If you get to your phone quickly enough to fix the problem then you will have best results.
If your phone still doesn't work, then you may have to purchase a new cell phone.

how can i connect to myspace at school
If your school has blocked access to Myspace don't worry, there are plenty of ways to get around it.
Here are multiple methods that school students use every day to access their Myspace profiles from school.
If one site doesn't work for you, try one of the others as your school's server and firewall settings can influence their effectiveness.
how to get on myspace at school:
www.fsurf.com - At the bottom of this page enter the Myspace url and then hit the 'fsurf' button - you will be taken straight to Myspace but the browser will not say anything to do with Myspace so your school's fire wall will be fooled.
http://www.cantseemy.info/ - This site is similar to the one above - this site knows that a lot of people want to access Myspace at School so they have added a link above their 'enter url' function that will take you straight to Myspace.
http://allowu.com/ - Just type in www.myspace.com and then hit enter - you will be taken straight to the Myspace login page.
https://kproxy.com/ - type in the page you want to visit (i.e www.myspace.com) then hit surf to be taken to Myspace where you will be able to login at school.
These 4 sites will get you past your school's firewall and give you access to Myspace, where you will be able to add friends, post comments and use all of Myspace's features.
However, be aware that your school will most likely have a computer usage policy, accessing Myspace may very well violate that policy which may result in your being banned from using computers at school. So use these methods at your own risk.
If you know of another site that will let you get on Myspace at school then feel free to add it as a comment to this blog post so that others can see it.
